These terms govern the Marymar Events text messaging program (the "Program"), operated by Marymar Events LLC ("Marymar," "we," "us") of Tucson, Arizona. By opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these SMS Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

1. Program Description

Marymar Events uses text messaging to communicate with clients, prospective clients, and vendors about events at our venue. Messages you may receive include:

  • Responses to inquiries and venue tour requests

  • Tour, appointment, and planning meeting confirmations and reminders

  • Event booking updates, including contract, payment, and balance-due reminders

  • Event-day logistics, such as setup times, vendor arrival, and venue access

  • Requests for feedback after your event

  • Occasional promotional messages about availability, special rates, open houses, and venue events (only if you have separately agreed to receive marketing texts)

2. Consent and Opt-In

You may opt in by checking the SMS consent box on our website inquiry or tour request form, by providing your mobile number on a signed booking form or contract that includes SMS consent, or by texting START to 520-841-5525

By opting in, you consent to receive recurring text messages from Marymar Events at the mobile number you provided, including messages sent using automated technology. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of booking, purchase, or service. You may book and communicate with us by phone or email instead.

You confirm that you are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide. If you change or give up your number, please text STOP before doing so or let us know so we can update our records.

3. Message Frequency and Rates

Message frequency varies based on your inquiry or event. Clients with an upcoming booking may receive more messages in the weeks before their event. Promotional messages, if you opt in to them, are sent no more than [4] times per month.

Message and data rates may apply. Charges depend on your mobile carrier and plan. Marymar Events does not charge for text messages.

4. How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP (or ALTO, CANCEL, END, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE). You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no further texts will be sent unless you opt in again. To rejoin, reply START.

Opting out of texts does not cancel your booking or contract. We will continue to reach you by phone or email about your event.

6. Carrier Disclaimer

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier's network and device compatibility, and Marymar Events is not responsible for messages that are delayed or not received.

7. Privacy

We use your mobile number only to communicate with you about Marymar Events. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. We may share information with service providers who help us send messages, solely to operate this Program. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to opt in. For quinceañeras and other events planned for minors, we ask that a parent or guardian serve as the primary text contact.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continuing to receive messages after a change means you accept the updated terms.
